Therapy & Support Services, Respite Care

Therapeutic Services & Restorative Care Physical and/or restorative support is provided through all departments: medical and nursing care, nutritional care, life enrichment, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and administration. Therapeutic services provide restorative, maintenance and/or supportive roles in the care of the residents. The home has arrangement with local and area health services to provide the following: footcare, physiotherapy, speech and occupational therapy.
Support Services Support services provided in-home include pharmacy, laboratory, respiratory, optometry and dental services. Support services provided locally include emergency care, opthomology, audiology, ultra-sound and radiology.
Respite Care and a Day Program Respite care is provided to temporarily relieve primary caregivers in the community. A Day Program is available on an "as request" basis.
