Bingo is one of the favorite activities for residents at the Algonquin Nursing Home. From September to June volunteers or activity staff run the games twice a week.

In past years, during the summer months bingo’s are held during the day with the help of the summer students and volunteers.

Like any Bingo there are prizes to be won and a line; four corners or a “V” will win you .50 cents at the nursing home. Sometimes they even have a jackpot.

But, for the regular bingo players who have played the game most of their lives it is a great way to pass the time. They love it and it is just one of the many things that makes the ANH - A Place called Home.
